Looking for something to do with the kids in that tricky last week before school starts? Sorted. Junior Einsteins Science Club, the award-winning crew behind high-energy science for kids, is running its very first Luxembourg summer camp, and it's happening right here in Livange.

.

From Monday 24 to Friday 28 August, 9:00 to 13:00 each morning, 5–11 year-olds get to be real scientists for a week: lab coat on, goggles down, four hands-on experiments a day. Think homemade slime, erupting volcanoes, plasma balls, foaming "elephant toothpaste," bath-bomb chemistry and a proper rocket launch to finish. Every day there's a project to take home, and on Friday everyone graduates with a Junior Einstein certificate.

The whole camp runs in English, with kids split into age groups (Atoms for 5–8s, Molecules for 9–11s), so there's the right level of challenge whatever their age, plus a nice dose of natural English immersion built into the fun.

The good bit for early birds: to celebrate the Luxembourg launch, the week is €250 instead of the usual €350, but there are only 15 places, and it's the full week (no single days), so it'll go quickly.

The venue is a treat in itself: Laborartorium, the science-and-nature experience gallery at 24 Rue Geespelt in Livange, with easy parking and quick access from the A3.
